In the interest of making this (slightly) more interesting, here's a list of Q&A about me. Feel free to ask more stuff.

Who are you?

My real name is Juan Antonio Romero Lara. I'm a 20-year-old student living in Mexico City (yes, I'm Mexican) and trying to start a web design/management business. This site is mainly so I can showcase my m4d sk1llz or something like that.

So what can you do?

I can do many things, but I specialise in XHTML and CSS design. I type everything by hand with a simple text editor, which allows me to have a thorough understanding on how things work, and complete control on its appearance and behaviour. I also know some PHP and JavaScript, but not as much as I'd feel comfortable with. I'm a quick learner, though, so whatever I forget about it I re-learn in about thirty minutes or so of testing.

Text editor? Eww. Why not Word, or Dreamweaver?

I don't like them, because 1) they produce immense amounts of unnecessary code (especially Word); 2) I like doing things on my own instead of some lame step-by-step wizard; 3) they're horribly bloated for what they do; 4) they don't provide the same learning experience; and 5) I know enough web-related stuff not to rely on such tools.

Why does your site look so bad?

It can be one of many reasons: One, you're using Internet Explorer. I wrote everything here conforming to W3C standards, especially XHTML 1 and CSS 2, the latter of which is poorly supported by IE. And since I plan on adhering to standards, it's an utter waste of time to ask me to "fix" my site for IE. Two, and a similar reason, you don't have CSS support enabled in your browser, but unlike IE's badly-rendered CSS, the site is still usable; it'll just be horribly plain-looking. Three, you simply have different tastes than me. Which sucks, but hey, at least you're using a decent browser... right?

Do you really use MSPaint to draw?

At first, yes, but now only for quick doodles and such. If I want to do something kinda serious, I use Fireworks or The GIMP instead, which let me undo a large amount of steps (yeah, I tend to screw up a lot) among other things. I do try to preserve the style as much as I can, though.

How may I contact you?

Drop me an e-mail to nsdragon at gmail.com. Or look for me on the Nightstar IRC network under the nicknames NightshadeDragon, Aranwe or Nintyel. If I'm on and available, I'm always under any of those three nicknames.

Can you tell us about your personal life?

What, here in the open? No way. I'm too shy for that. And this is not the place, anyway.

I see you have a LiveJournal. May I add you?

Maybe. It's quite personal, so if I don't know you at all then chances are quite slim. It's easier to chat me up on IRC sometime, but don't expect me to tell you my life story in detail either. I'm quite introverted.

Woe? Angst? What the hell, man? Are you a Drama King or something?

My catchphrases. Also, yeah, I do think I have the Drama King bug in me, as some people can confirm. Not quite proud of it, but what can I do about it?

You're so totally hawt.

I see you've been brainwashed by my friends. Also, that was not a question.

There, that's all I'll say for now. Stay tuned for more updates. And if you want, ask something yourself. Contact info is currently at the Home page.
